Star Wars’ Andor season 2 trailer makes its debut

With just one month more to wait until the much-anticipated second season of Andor, the Star Wars team has given fans a closer look at the show.

The second trailer is ramping up the hype for Andor’s second season, teasing the battles and political intrigue that await us. Billed as the final season of Andor that will take us up to the events of Rogue One, the much-anticipated TV show’s second installment will include 12 episodes.

Episodes will air on Disney+ in three episode batches, with time jumps in between each ‘chapter’. The focus will be on Andor and other rebellion figures, fighting to take down the Empire and get the rebellion to the position it’s in just before the start of the original trilogy.

Andor Season 2 will begin streaming its first three episodes on Disney+ on April 22, 2025. While no LEGO Star Wars sets related to the next season have yet been confirmed, there are rumbles out there that a brick-built version of everyone’s favourite grumpy droid, K-2SO, could be coming later this year. He’s certainly set to return in Andor, as you can spot him in action in the trailer, setting the scene for his popular role in Rogue One.
