Two versions of Hot Toys’ upcoming Darth Vader (Return of the Jedi 40th Anniversary Collection) Sixth Scale Figure have been revealed.
Return of the Jedi has been celebrating its 40th anniversary in 2023, with numerous collectibles being released to mark the move’s milestone and Episode VI is even heading back to the big screen for a limited run this month.
Hot Toys and Sideshow are adding to the line-up of products that tie into the event, with pre-orders now open for the upcoming Darth Vader (Return of the Jedi 40th Anniversary Collection) – Movie Masterpiece Series figure. Standing approximately 23cm tall and boasting over 30 points of articulation, this impressive version of the Sith Lord reflects his appearance in Return of the Jedi and is packed with features.
The Collector Edition of the figure includes a new head with sculpted scars and separate rolling eyes, a detachable helmet, alternate hands, LED light-up chest panel, belt, lightsaber, base and character nameplate. In addition, the Darth Vader (Return of the Jedi 40th Anniversary Collection) – Movie Masterpiece Series figure also comes as a Deluxe Edition that features an LED light-up staircase diorama, lightning effect accessory and translucent helmeted head to simulate Anakin Skywalker being blasted by the Emperor’s Force lightning.
The Darth Vader (Return of the Jedi 40th Anniversary Collection) – Movie Masterpiece Series Sixth Scale Figure Collector Edition is priced at £250.08, while the Deluxe Edition can be yours for £287.59. Both versions are expected to ship to customers sometime from July to December 2024.
