Series V of Jazwares’ Star Wars Micro Galaxy Squadron collectibles was announced at Star Wars Celebration Europe 2023.
Those in attendance at Jazwares’ panel at Star Wars Celebration Europe 2023 will have been amongst some of the first to find out what the company has planned for its popular Micro Galaxy Squadron range this year. The theme is due to expand again over the next 12 months with a fifth wave of the series that will introduce new ships, vehicles and characters from across the Star Wars saga.
Star Wars Micro Galaxy Squadron Series V will be adding seven craft to its Light Armor Class, with the arrival of the Twin Pod Cloud Car, Geonosian Starfighter, Desert Skiff, Resistance A-Wing, two rare ships (currently classified) and Kit Fisto’s Jedi Starfighter as a chase variant. The Scout Class Mystery Packs will be boosted by a Geonosian with Speeder Bike, a Manadalorian with Speeder Bike, Rey with Speeder, Anakin Skywalker with Swoop Bike, Imperial Trooper with Speeder Bike, a chase Boba Fett with Speeder Bike and rare figures of Durge and Aurra Sing with Speeder Bikes.
Next up is the Starfighter Class which gains Kylo Ren’s TIE Silencer, V-19 Torrent Fighter, Elite First Order TIE Fighter, B-Wing, a classified Scout Walker, a mystery chase ship and a rare battle-damaged Elite First Order TIE Fighter. Larger ships arrive with the U-Wing Starfighter, Battle of Endor Battle Pack and Battle of Coruscant Battle Pack, with the latter two sets being retailer exclusives.
Amazon will be getting its own Star Wars Micro Galaxy Squadron exclusive in the shape of the AT-AT (Endor), with Luke Skywalker, Darth Vader, AT-AT Pilot, Scout Trooper and four Stormtrooper figures.
There are currently no specific release date or prices for any of the Star Wars Micro Galaxy Squadron Series V items mentioned above, but they should be on store shelves sometime later this year.
