Gamers can now return to a galaxy far, far away with new prequel trilogy content available in the latest Star Wars x Fortnite crossover event.
Fortnite is a video game that is constantly evolving, continually offering players something new to experience and crossing over with the biggest pop culture IPs out there. The latest event to take place in the massively-popular Epic Games’ title involves characters from the Star Wars universe, with ‘Find the Force’ running until May 23.
Celebrating the prequels, the latest Star Wars x Fortnite event includes new gameplay elements, unlockables and special gear to purchase in the Item Shop. Once players have updated the game to the latest version, they’ll be able to witness several portals opening up on the Fortnite island, with holograms of Obi-Wan Kenobi, Anakin Skywalker and Darth Maul waiting to train them. Those who enter the rifts will gain their very own lightsaber and several unique Force abilities.
The island will then progress through the events inspired by The Phantom Menace, Attack of the Clones and Revenge of the Sith, with all sorts of quests to tackle and plenty of character interactions with familiar characters. Additional content on the way during the ‘Find the Force’ event includes Anakin Skywalker and Padmé Amidala outfits, Republic Chests containing DC-15 blasters, Clone Trooper NPCs and much more.
Fortnite is free to download and play right now on PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, Android, PC, and cloud-based game streaming services.
