The latest TV advert for The Mandalorian teases the return of a familiar Imperial face.
In the new 30-second TV spot for the upcoming season of The Mandalorian, the Empire’s cloning expert, Dr Pershing is spotted for a brief moment, standing in front of a glittering city.
While we already knew that Pershing would return (sparking theories about his connection to a certain cloned Sith Lord), this could suggest that the Imperial scientist will feature this week, in the episode airing on Wednesday March 13.
The last time we saw Dr. Pershing, he helped Din Djarin, Bo-Katan, and the rest to rescue Grogu from Moff Gideon. As Moff Gideon was handed over to the New Republic, this could also be where we see Pershing reappear, perhaps on Hosnian Prime, a capital of the New Republic.
He appears to be looking up at the sky, as if expecting a ship. Could he be about to get a visit from Mando himself, or another one of the cast? We’ll have to wait and see to find out, in what is rumoured to be the longest episode of The Mandalorian we’ve seen so far this season.
According to StarWarsNews.net, the third episode could have a runtime of 56 minutes and 11 seconds (via @Cryptic4KQual on Twitter), in comparison to episodes one and two’s runtimes of 37 minutes and 44 minutes respectively.
