The LEGO Star Wars galaxy is about to expand once again with the imminent arrival of 75348 Mandalorian Fang Fighter vs. TIE Interceptor.
Star Wars: The Mandalorian Season 3 may now have reached its conclusion, but the show is still managing to inspire multiple licensed products based around the series. Adding to that ever-growing line-up of collectibles is an all-new LEGO Star Wars set that will be arriving as soon as next week.
The LEGO Group has revealed that the popular theme will see the addition of 75348 Mandalorian Fang Fighter vs. TIE Interceptor on May 1, with the model launching just in time for this year’s upcoming Star Wars Day celebrations. The 957-piece build includes both ships as seen in The Mandalorian Season 3, as well as minifigures of Din Djarin, a Mandalorian Fleet Commander, a TIE Pilot and R2-E6.
The great news for collectors is that this version of The Mandalorian comes with the new Darksaber element, ahead of the same piece appearing in 75361 Spider Tank when that releases on August 1. 75348 Mandalorian Fang Fighter vs. TIE Interceptor will be priced at £89.99 / $99.99 / €99.99 when it arrives online and in stores next week. The Empire’s new ship joins two similar Imperial craft that are currently still available in the shape of 75300 Imperial TIE Fighter and 75347 TIE Bomber, allowing fans to fully fill out their own fleets.
Those who pick up 75348 Mandalorian Fang Fighter vs. TIE Interceptor on May 1 will also be able take advantage of a number of special May the 4th promotions, with multiple LEGO Star Wars GWP items, VIP points and member rewards available during the event.
