A call for help from one of their own springs Clone Force 99 into action in the latest episode of Star Wars: The Bad Batch Season 2.

Episode 14 of Star Wars: The Bad Batch Season 2 is now available to watch on Disney+, with the current run of the hit animated series rapidly approaching its conclusion. In ‘Tipping Point,’ we discover more about Crosshair’s capture by the Empire and welcome the return of a few fan favourite clone faces. (Spoilers ahead)

The new episode opens with a daring rescue attempt against an Imperial transport ship, spearheaded by Echo, Gregor and Fireball. Their mission is to free a number of fellow clones who are being transported to a mysterious location for some classified reason. Freeing their brothers, the team makes good its escape just in time and heads to Pabu to link up with Clone Force 99.

Meanwhile, the sinister Dr Hemlock is holding Crosshair prisoner on Mount Tantiss, using an interrogator droid to try and learn the location of Omega and the rest of the wanted elite squad. Hemlock’s assistant, Emerie Karr, is left alone with the drugged clone, who stuns her and attempts a failed escape from the facility, but he does at least manage to send a message to his former teammates in time.

Despite having had a taste of the good life on Pabu, the arrival of Echo’s team and Crosshair’s cryptic call soon spurs Clone Force 99 into action. Now the group has to decide whether a rescue operation of someone who betrayed them is worth the risk or could they be walking into a deadly Imperial trap?

Star Wars: The Bad Batch Season 2 is currently streaming on Disney+ right now, with two season finale episodes, ‘The Summit’ and ‘Plan 99’, dropping next Wednesday.
