Lucasfilm and Disney+ have released the first full trailer for the upcoming animated Star Wars: Young Jedi Adventures series.
Younger fans of the Star Wars franchise will have plenty to get excited about soon when a new animated show premieres on Disney+ on May 4. Star Wars: Young Jedi Adventures follows a fun cast of characters that includes Master Yoda, Jedi younglings Kai, Lys, and Nubs, as well as their companions, Nash and RJ-83. The series is set 100 years before the Skywalker saga and will be preceded by a collection of animated shorts on Disney+ from April 26.
Lucasfilm and Disney+ have now released the first full trailer for the upcoming show, with plenty of action, fun and excitement to be glimpsed in the footage that can be viewed below. The trailer is narrated by Master Yoda himself as he introduces the Star Wars: Young Jedi Adventures cast, with shots of the younglings riding speeder bikes over water, Kai in a duel with the masked Taborr Val Dorn (played by Trey Murphy), and an encounter with a massive space slug.
The first two episodes of Star Wars: Young Jedi Adventures were screened to guests at Star Wars Celebration Europe 2023 over the past weekend, during a panel hosted by Krystina Arielle. It’s not yet known how many episodes of the show will comprise Season 1, but they will be released consecutively from May 4 on Disney+ as part of this year’s annual Star Wars Day activities.
