Wookiee Jedi Padawan, Gungi, is the latest character to be featured in a new promotional poster for Star Wars: The Bad Batch Season 2.
Last week’s episode of Star Wars: The Bad Batch Season 2 featured the welcome return of Wookiees, with Clone Force 99 taking an unscheduled trip to Kashyyyk. The elite squad were attempting to return Jedi Padawan, Gungi, and find his tribe when they encounter a double threat of the Empire and Trandoshan hunters.
A scared survivor of Order 66, Gungi was to be sold into slavery by Vanguard Axis droids before being liberated by Clone Force 99 and Omega. Whether this action will have consequences for the squad further down the line has yet to be revealed.
The Star Wars: The Bad Batch Twitter team has revealed the latest character poster from the hit Disney+ animated series, featuring a determined Gungi holding his signature green lightsaber. Thanks to his prowess with the weapon, as well as his connection to the Force, Gungi was able to assist his people and rout the hostile invaders, at least in the short term.
Star Wars: The Bad Batch Season 2 is available to stream for all Disney+ subscribers, with two mid-season episodes, ‘The Clone Conspiracy’ and ‘Truth and Consequences’ due to arrive on February 8, 2023.
