A new novel continuing the adventures of Cal Kestis is available now, with Star Wars Jedi: Battle Scars bridging the gap between video games.

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is due to launch April 28, with the long-awaited Electronic Arts video game delayed by an additional six weeks. A direct sequel to Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, the sequel continues the story of former Padawan Cal Kestis as he attempts to make his way in a universe dominated by an emerging Galactic Empire.

Ahead of Fallen Order’s release comes Star Wars Jedi: Battle Scars, an all-new novel written by author Sam Maggs, that charts Kestis’ adventures between the two games. The book follows the crew of the Stinger Mantis as they encounter a Stormtrooper who has deserted her Imperial masters and has knowledge of an object that could be used to aid in the fight against the Empire. However, can their new-found ally truly be trusted, or is she leading them into a trap set by the Inquisitor known as the Fifth Brother?

Star Wars Jedi: Battle Scars is published by Random House and can be purchased from today in hardcover, Ebook and audio versions. Be sure to head on over to the official Star Wars website to read a first excerpt from Maggs’ novel and find out what Kestis and his comrades have been up to since the events of Star Wars Jedi: Survivor.

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order can be pre-ordered now and is available to purchase on Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X, PlayStation 5 and PC platforms.
