The ever-growing crew for Star Wars’ Skeleton Crew includes a director currently working on another Disney project.

Green Knight’s David Lowery has been confirmed by The Hollywood Reporter to join Everything, Everywhere, All At Once filmmakers in directing one episode of the Disney+ show. More names are expected to be on the way, with production having wrapped several months ago in January 2023. This came after various rumoured production issues that delayed the show from wrapping on schedule.

Skeleton Crew will also Jude Law and was written by Jon Watts, the mind behind Tom Holland’s Spider-Man trilogy. It tells the story of a group of children lost in the galaxy and trying to find their way home. Executive produced by The Mandalorian’s Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni, it’s set in the New Republic era of the Star Wars universe.

The announcement comes just days after news about Lowery’s other key project, Peter Pan & Wendy, the upcoming Disney+ movie, due out April 28. Lowery is reportedly still in post-production for the live-action film.

More news about Skeleton Crew is expected to be revealed at this week’s Star Wars Celebration Europe 2023.
