A first-look trailer for Star Wars: Tales from the Galaxy’s Edge – Enhanced Edition has been revealed, showcasing the stunning PlayStation VR2 experience.

Originally released in 2020 for the Oculus Quest systems, Star Wars: Tales from the Galaxy’s Edge was an amazing virtual reality first-person shooter created by ILMxLab. The game took players on a thrilling adventure through Black Spire spaceport on the planet of Batuu, as featured at the Disney theme parks’ Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge attractions.

A new version of the interactive game is on its way on February 22, 2023 as a launch title for the upcoming PlayStation VR2 system. Star Wars: Tales from the Galaxy’s Edge – Enhanced Edition is now available for pre-order and has been completely rebuilt from the ground up to take full advantage of the new hardware, including eye-tracking and foveated rendering, headset feedback, adaptive triggers and haptic feedback with PS VR2 Sense controllers, plus dynamic 3D audio.

A first trailer for Star Wars: Tales from the Galaxy’s Edge – Enhanced has also been released to accompany the announcement, one that features plenty of footage of the many friends, foes and challenges that players will encounter in the game.

Star Wars: Tales from the Galaxy’s Edge – Enhanced will be available as a launch day PS VR2 digital release on February 22, whilst a physical version of the game will arrive on April 7 via Perp Games – coincidentally the same day that Star Wars Celebration Europe 2023 kicks off. The game can be pre-ordered right now is priced at £39.99/$49.99.
