The action-packed final episode of Star Wars: The Mandalorian Season 3 is now available to stream for all subscribers.

Chapter 24 of Star Wars: The Mandalorian Season 3 arrived on Disney+ last week, bringing the current storyline to a conclusion and answering many lingering questions that fans may have had regarding the show. ‘The Return’ continued the battle to free Mandalore, with Bo-Katan Kryze and her warriors facing off against Imperial forces, while Din Djarin and Grogu attempted to put an end to Moff Gideon’s plans once and for all.

While Bo-Katan Kryze and the remaining Mandalorians try to flee from the Empire’s hidden underground base, Djarin makes good his own escape, taking down two Beskar-clad troopers in true style. With a timely assist from Grogu (still piloting IG-12), the pair make their way deeper into enemy territory, as Axe Woves blasts off to warn the Mandalorian fleet of an incoming attack.

Ordering his fellow warriors off the ship, Woves holds off waves of attacking TIE Interceptors and TIE Bombers on his own, in what appears to be an act of self-sacrifice. Back down below the surface of Mandalore, Djarin battles even more troopers, with a jittery R5-D4 opening blast doors and energy barriers, while fending off annoying mouse droid attacks.

Pausing for a brief respite, a shocked Bo-Katan Kryze discovers that plants have once again begun to thrive beneath her world, proving that life can continue to exist on the planet despite the destruction above. She then leads her forces in an epic all-out jetpack assault against the Empire, with warriors from both sides clashing in mid-air as they attempt to defeat each other in fierce aerial combat.

Progressing further into the Imperial base, Djarin and Grogu soon discover tubes containing disturbing clones of Moff Gideon before they face off against the scheming villain himself. Wearing a suit of black Beskar armour, he proves to be a formidable foe in battle, holding his own against both the Mandalorian and Bo-Katan Kryze. Grogu also has hands full, having to fend off three Praetorian guards at once, with Djarin stepping in to help take them down.

Above Mandalore we discover Woves is still alive and piloting what’s left of his ship on a collision course with the Imperial base below, as Djarin, Grogu and Bo-Katan try to defeat Gideon, but lose the Darksaber in the process. The exploding vessel ultimately finishes off the enraged Moff, with Grogu using the Force to protect himself and his friends from the devastation around them.

With Mandalore now free, the Great Forge is lit once more and Djarin takes the youngling to be his adopted son, Din Grogu. A quick stop off at Adelphi Base for a meeting with Carson Teva sees a deal struck for the Mandalorian to take on future bounty hunter missions for the New Republic, allowing him to hunt down renegade Imperials for a fee.

The pair then finally head to Nevarro, where Greef Karga rewards the Mandalorian with own cabin and a plot of land, allowing father and son to rest up… at least until their next adventure in a galaxy far, far away.
