The soundtrack to Star Wars: The Mandalorian Season 3 has started to be released, with Vol. 1 now available for streaming and purchase.

Following in the footsteps of scores for previous seasons of the show, The Mandalorian has now gained yet another musical release. Walt Disney Records has dopped the Star Wars: The Mandalorian Season 3 – Vol. 1 soundtrack today, featuring 19 songs created by Ludwig Göransson and Joseph Shirley that cover chapters 17 to 20 of the Disney+ show.

The soundtrack clocks in at around one hour and seven minutes and is available to purchase digitally or stream via Apple Music, Amazon Music and Spotify. The original musical release includes themes by Göransson and a score by Shirley, with Vol. 2 expected to drop sometime after Season 3 concludes.

Shirley worked on both The Mandalorian and The Book of Boba Fett, closely collaborating on Season 1 and 2 of the former with Göransson, and has now taken over as the show’s main composer. Star Wars: The Mandalorian Season 3 – Vol. 1 already has a number of positive reviews so far, with fans impressed and intrigued with the inclusion of some sequel trilogy score elements, such as Snoke’s theme in Chapter 19.

A deluxe edition of the Star Wars: The Mandalorian Season 1 soundtrack was released by Mondo as an eight LP vinyl boxset back in 2021, although no such version of Season 2’s score has appeared to date, nor is there any word regarding a potential similar release for Season 3.
