In an upcoming issue of the Star Wars: Yoda comics, Anakin Skywalker will team up with the diminutive Jedi Master.
Issue 8 of Star Wars: Yoda will overlap with Star Wars: Revelations, signalling the possibility of still more crossovers that are already being hinted at by Marvel.
“The Separatist army has a powerful new weapon: the Megadroid,” reads the teaser for the comic. “It will take both Jedi Master Yoda and the Jedi Knight Anakin Skywalker to destroy the threat against the Republic.”
Written by Marc Guggenheim and illustrated by Alessandro Miracolo, the comic will see Yoda and Anakin need to work together to defeat an entire factory of Megadroids, a new threat in the era of the Clone Wars.
This is, of course, during the prequel trilogy timeline, but before Anakin has fallen to the Dark Side and Order 66 has taken place. It’s a chance to see Yoda in action, arguably in his prime while the Jedi Order was at its most powerful.
Star Wars: Yoda Issue 8 will be published in June of this year, so we have. a couple of months to wait until we can see the adventures unfold.
