A Marvel actor recently revealed that he would be keen to feature in more Disney titles – including one in a galaxy far, far away.
2022’s Black Panther: Wakanda Forever saw Tenoch Huerta make his MCU debut as the King of Atlantis Namor. Now that he has a foot in the door with Disney, it seems that Huerta could be keen to expand his acting credits into other Disney properties.
As reported by ComicBook.com, during the actor’s appearance at C2E2 at the beginning of April, Huerta was asked by a fan during a panel if he had any “dream projects” that he’s got in mind.
The Marvel actor revealed that there are two he has his eye on — including one in a certain galaxy far, far away.
“I have two,” Huerta replied. “I want to create a trilogy about the Mesoamerican culture and Star Wars.”
Reportedly, the fan reaction to both suggestions was electric, so who knows whether Huerta could appear in a future Star Wars project. With news coming on the cinematic and TV future of the franchise at Star Wars Celebration Europe 2023 this weekend, perhaps something could be on the cards for him soon (although thre’s no rumours giving weight to Huerta’s hopes at the moment).
