Jedi Fallen Order Duel Wielding

The game puts players in the role of Cal Kestis, a young Padawan who survived the Great Jedi Purge and is on a mission to rebuild the Jedi Order. As part of this mission, players must engage in intense lightsaber combat against the Empire and other foes. One of the combat options available to players is the ability to dual wield lightsabers.

Unlocking Dual Wielding

The ability to dual wield lightsabers in Jedi: Fallen Order becomes available as a skill upgrade later in the game, after the player has unlocked enough skill points to purchase the necessary abilities. Specifically, players must first unlock the “Determination” skill, which allows them to regain health when performing a precision evade, and then the “Agility” skill, which allows them to perform a powerful overhead attack. After unlocking these skills, players can then purchase the “Dual Lightsaber Mastery” skill, which unlocks the ability to dual wield lightsabers.

Using Dual Wielding

Once the player has unlocked the dual wield skill, they can use it to wield two lightsabers simultaneously, increasing their damage output and allowing for more complex combat manoeuvres. Dual wielding can be especially effective against groups of enemies, as the player can attack multiple targets at once and quickly dispatch them. However, it’s important to note that while dual wielding is powerful, it can also leave the player vulnerable to enemy attacks, as they are less able to block incoming strikes. As such, players must use dual wielding strategically and wisely, balancing the benefits of increased damage output with the risks of leaving themselves exposed.

Customising Dual Wielding

One of the great things about dual wielding in Jedi: Fallen Order is the ability to customie the appearance of the player’s lightsabers. Players can choose from a variety of different hilt designs and colour crystals, allowing them to create a unique look for their dual-wielding Jedi. Additionally, players can also customise the moveset of their dual-wielding combat, selecting from different techniques and abilities to create a fighting style that suits their playstyle.

Dual wielding is a powerful combat option in Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. While it requires a bit of investment in terms of skill points and strategy, it can be a highly effective way to take on tough enemies and overcome challenging combat encounters. With the ability to customize both the appearance and moveset of their dual-wielding Jedi, players can create a unique and personalized combat experience that is truly their own.
