Jedi: Fallen Order is a third-person action-adventure game set in the Star Wars universe. As a Jedi Padawan named Cal Kestis, you’ll travel to various planets, fight against the Empire, and restore the Jedi Order. To succeed in this journey, you’ll need to master a variety of moves and techniques that can help you overcome various challenges in the game.

Lightsaber Moves

  • Light Attack: Press the attack button to perform a quick, light attack with your lightsaber.
  • Heavy Attack: Hold down the attack button to perform a slower, heavy attack with your lightsaber.
  • Overhead Strike: While running, jump, and then press the attack button to perform an overhead strike with your lightsaber.
  • Dash Strike: While running, press the attack button to perform a quick dash strike with your lightsaber.
  • Lunging Strike: Hold down the attack button while running to perform a lunging strike with your lightsaber.
  • Saber Throw: Press the Force button to throw your lightsaber at enemies. You can also hold down the Force button to aim the throw.

Force Powers

  • Force Push: Press the Force button to push enemies away from you with the Force.
  • Force Pull: Press and hold the Force button to pull enemies towards you with the Force.
  • Force Slow: Press and hold the Force button to slow down time for enemies and objects around you.
  • Force Jump: Press the jump button twice to perform a Force-assisted jump to higher platforms.
  • Force Heal: Press the heal button to heal yourself using the Force.

Defensive Moves

  • Block: Press and hold the block button to block incoming attacks with your lightsaber.
  • Parry: Press the block button just before an enemy attack lands to deflect the attack and leave the enemy open for a counter-attack.
  • Dodge: Press the dodge button to quickly dodge incoming attacks.

Other Moves

  • Climb: Approach a climbable surface and press the climb button to climb up or down it.
  • Wall Run: Approach a wall and press and hold the jump button to run along the wall.
  • Rope Swing: Approach a rope and press the jump button to swing from it.
  • Interact: Approach an object or NPC and press the interact button to interact with it.

Advanced Lightsaber Techniques

  • Lightsaber Throw: Hold the attack button to charge up your lightsaber throw and deal more damage.
  • Lightsaber Combo: String together light and heavy attacks to perform a combo that deals more damage than individual attacks.
  • Aerial Attack: Jump towards an enemy and press the attack button to perform an aerial attack with your lightsaber.
  • Delayed Attack: Hold down the attack button to charge up your attack and deal more damage when it lands.

Advanced Force Techniques

  • Force Push and Pull Combo: Use Force Push or Pull to knock an enemy off balance, then follow up with a lightsaber attack or another Force power.
  • Force Push and Pull Object Combo: Use Force Push or Pull on an object in the environment to create a projectile that you can use to attack enemies or solve puzzles.
  • Force Push and Pull Shielded Enemies: Use Force Push or Pull to remove the shield from a shielded enemy, leaving them vulnerable to attack.
  • Force Slow and Attack Combo: Use Force Slow to slow down time, then follow up with a lightsaber attack or another Force power to deal extra damage.

Movement Techniques

  • Vault: Approach a low object and press the jump button to vault over it.
  • Slide: Run towards a low object and press the crouch button to slide under it.
  • Double Jump: Jump in mid-air to perform a second jump and reach higher platforms.
  • Mantling: Jump towards a ledge and press the climb button to pull yourself up onto it.

Other Techniques

  • Enemy Targeting: Use the targeting button to lock onto a specific enemy, allowing you to focus your attacks on them.
  • Evasive Roll: Press the dodge button twice to perform an evasive roll that can help you avoid incoming attacks.
  • Parry and Counterattack: Use a parry to deflect an enemy attack, then immediately follow up with a lightsaber attack to deal damage.
