European D23 Members can look forward to three upcoming events in April, with Disney confirming just what Star Wars fans can expect.
D23 Members based in Europe who were unable to make it to the US-only 2022 Expo in person last year now have reason to celebrate. Disney has revealed that three special events will be taking place in the UK, France and Germany, allowing Star Wars fans in those countries to get involved with all the fun and excitement.
D23 is confirmed to be in attendance at Star Wars Celebration Europe 2023, with the fan gathering taking place from April 7-10 at ExCel London. As well as full coverage of the show, there will also be a D23 Member-exclusive screening of Return of the Jedi on April 8, with the film marking its 40th anniversary this year.
Next up is a one-of-a-kind D23 Gold Member event at Disneyland Paris on April 12-13. Fans will be able to take unique tours of the theme park, led by Walt Disney Imagineering, enjoy special dining opportunities, take a peek at the latest entertainment at the location and join in with the resort’s 30th anniversary celebrations.
Later in April, D23 Members in Germany will be invited to a unique preview of Disney100: The Exhibition during its European premiere at Kleine Olympiahalle in Munich. Taking place across 10 galleries in a 15,000 foot location, the Walt Disney Archives will be opening up its vault of treasures, showcasing numerous rare items, including Star Wars props, costumes and artwork.
