Harrison Ford is an American actor and film producer who is best known for his roles in the Star Wars and Indiana Jones franchises. He first rose to fame in the 1970s with his breakout role as Han Solo in the original Star Wars trilogy.

Ford’s first appearance as Han Solo was in Episode IV – A New Hope, which was released in 1977. Ford was 35 years old at the time, while he was 33 when shooting first started. He reprised the role in the sequels The Empire Strikes Back (1980) and Return of the Jedi (1983), when he was 38 and 41 years old, respectively.

In 2015, Ford reprised the role of Han Solo in The Force Awakens at the age of 72, turning 73 by the time it premiered. The movie was released on December 18, 2015, and became a box office success, grossing over $2 billion worldwide.

Ford also made a brief cameo as a vision of Han Solo in The Rise of Skywalker, which was released in 2019 when he was 77 years old.
