A new Star Wars experience themed to The Mandalorian is coming to London ahead of the live-action show’s third season.
Taking place at 48 Regent Street, Piccadilly Circus next week, the experience will run on Wednesday February 22 (between 2pm and 6pm) and Thursday 23 February (between 10am and 6pm). It will feature a number of attractions, all themed to Din Djarin’s titular show on Disney+. The venue is described as ‘a locale inspired by the gritty vibe of the show’, so you can expect it to feel authentic to the atmosphere of the show (although hopefully not a Tatooine episode).
For example, the Forge will replicate the blacksmith area from Mandalore, where Beskar is forged into Mandalorian armour and weapons. What’s more, it seems it will be taking authenticity very seriously, with warnings of ‘heavy tools and extremely hot surfaces’.
Once you’ve recovered from the heat of the Forge, you can also enjoy some live music in the Cantina bar and have your picture taken by a droid photographer. Selected fans could also be in with the chance of seeing their initials printed on a Beskar ingot, which they can take home with them at the end of the day.
It’s estimated that any visit will take around 30 minutes, with extra time to take some pictures of you with a replica Darksaber. Fans of all ages are welcome, but younger visitors should bring an adult with them.
