A first full story trailer for Respawn’s upcoming Star Wars Jedi: Survivor video game has been released by publisher Electronic Arts.
Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is due for release next month, with the video game’s launch having been pushed back slightly to April 28, 2023. The title will be arriving on Xbox Series S and X, PlayStation 5 and PC, continuing the adventures of Cal Kestis and BD-1 in a universe dominated by an emerging Galactic Empire.
Created by Respawn Entertainment and published by Electronic Arts, Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is a direct sequel to Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order and follows Cal and his droid companion after the devastating effects of Order 66. A recent book chronicled more details of what happened to the characters after the events of Fallen Order, with Star Wars Jedi: Battle Scars set between the time period of the two games.
Now Electronic Arts has released a new story trailer for Star Wars Jedi: Survivor that reveals more information about the plot of the upcoming video game, which is set five years after Fallen Order. The latest stunning footage gives players glimpses of new open-world planets that will be explorable, multiple enemies that can be defeated with special combos and additional Force-based powers to master.
As fear and mistrust spread throughout the galaxy, Cal attempts to find a place where he, the crew of the Stinger Mantis and others can feel safe from the threat of the encroaching Empire. Cal’s Nightsister ally, Merrin, is back once more, as is the Mantis’ captain, Greez, complete with a cybernetic arm to replace the one he lost in Fallen Order.
Star Wars Jedi: Survivor will be launching on April 28 and pre-orders for various digital and physical versions of the upcoming video game are now live.
