Fans typing ‘Grogu’ into Google will be now be rewarded with a fun Easter egg that’s been added to promote Star Wars: The Mandalorian Season 3.
The long-awaited third season of Star Wars: The Mandalorian debuted on Disney+ last week, with the first episode of the show now available for all subscribers. Following the events of both Season 2 and The Book of Boba Fett, fans finally found out what Din Djarin and Grogu have been up to and where their adventures might be taking them next.
Now, thanks to a unique collaboration between Disney, Lucasfilm and Google, typing certain key words into the popular search engine will reward users with a fun Easter egg, one that’s been added to promote the returning show. Inputting ‘The Mandalorian,’ ‘Mandalorian,’ ‘Grogu,’ or ‘Baby Yoda’ into Google’s search bar will result in The Child appearing in the bottom right-hand corner of your browser window.
A small arrow above the animated Grogu is your hint to click on the character, triggering the little guy into using the Force to pull apart the contents of the browser. Pieces of your search results will be yanked away and deposited onto a messy pile at the bottom of the screen, from images and text to news articles and videos. This can be repeated multiple times, with Grogu seemingly never tiring of his destructive website behaviour. There’s no word on how long the Easter egg will be available, so be sure to play around with this fun Google feature while you can.
Star Wars The Mandalorian Season 3 is currently streaming on Disney+, with all-new episodes of the show dropping each Wednesday.
