It’s the penultimate week of the ‘Mando Mania’ promotional campaign, with more new Star Wars products having been revealed.
Star Wars: The Mandalorian Season 3 has reached its seventh week and so has the show’s promotional ‘Mando Mania’ campaign. Every seven days since the series returned to Disney+ the official Star Wars website has been shining a spotlight on all sorts of licensed The Mandalorian and The Book of Boba Fett products for fans to spend their hard-earned cash on. As the penultimate episode of Season 3 debuts today, ‘Mando Mania’ kicks off the last of two final showcases of Star Wars collectibles based on the show.
First up this time around is Hasbro, with an exclusive reveal of a Star Wars: The Black Series two-pack featuring Cobb Vanth and Cad Bane. The 6-inch scale figures feature premium detailing and include character-specific accessories in distinctive packaging.
DC Shoes is getting in on The Mandalorian action with a special edition release of its Grogu Manteca 4 sneakers. The footwear has plenty of nods to the young foundling and features a textured canvas and leather upper design with the outline of a tasty frog on the sole.
The Child has also been recreated by Mattel, with the toy company offering up its Jumping Grogu Feature Plush. Priced at $26.99, the soft and cuddly item stands nearly 28cm tall and can leap and make unique sounds when the character’s head is pressed down.
For those with deeper pockets, this week’s ‘Mando Mania’ selection is rounded out by The Mandalorian Pinball Machine from Stern Pinball. Offered up in Pro, Premium and Limited Edition versions (with eye-watering prices to match), the machines offer multiball mayhem, a custom Grogu sculpture, authentic video and audio from Seasons 1 and 2 of the Disney+ show and much more.
Interestingly a fifth collectible of a Samurai-inspired Stormtrooper figure from Ashigaru (above) is also shown in the main featured image for ‘Mando Mania’ week seven, but the listing for the item has since been removed.
