Obi-Wan Kenobi, Yoda, Kanan Jarrus, Ahsoka Tano, and Cal Kestis all managed to evade the Empire and went on to play key roles in the fight against the Empire. Their survival not only adds depth to the Star Wars universe but also showcases the resilience and determination of the Jedi in the face of adversity.

Kelleran Beq

Kelleran Beq, a character introduced in the Star Wars franchise, is a prominent Jedi Knight with a unique role in the galaxy far, far away. Beq’s character is central in the series “Star Wars: Jedi Temple Challenge,” a children’s game show on the Star Wars Kids network, where he is portrayed by actor Ahmed Best. Best is no stranger to the Star Wars universe, having famously given life to the character Jar Jar Binks in the prequel trilogy. In this new role, Beq is depicted as a wise and compassionate Jedi, embodying the values of the Order and serving as a guiding light for the young participants of the challenge.

In The Mandalorian, it was revealed that Beq was the one who snuck Grogu out of the Jedi Temple, confirming that he also survived Order 66. It’s not revealed what happened to him after he handed Grogu off to Naboo guards.

Grogu

As confirmed by his presence in The Mandalorian, set after Order 66, Grogu also survived the purge. At first, his survival was a mystery but Season 3 revealed that he was saved from the attack on the Jedi Temple and transferred to a ship from Naboo.

The Grand Inquisitor

The Grand Inquisitor, originally a Jedi Temple Guard, survived Order 66 because he fell to the dark side before the execution of the order. As the Great Jedi Purge began, he was not targeted for execution because he had already become a servant of the dark side and the newly formed Galactic Empire.

When the Jedi Order fell, he was recruited by Darth Vader and Emperor Palpatine to lead the Inquisitorius, a group of dark side adepts whose mission was to hunt down the remaining Jedi survivors. As such, he not only survived Order 66 but also played a significant role in the events that followed.

Luminara Unduli

Luminara Unduli initially survived Order 66 but was apparently captured and killed by the Empire shortly after. It was revealed in Rebels that her bones were used to lure Jedi (like Kanan and Ezra) in to attempt to rescue her, despite being long dead.

Reva

As revealed in Obi-Wan Kenobi, Reva was a child Padawan during Order 66 and survived by hiding under the bodies of her classmates. She swore vengeance on Anakin Skywalker for killing her youngling friends, going so far as to become an Inquisitor to get close enough to kill him.

Cere Junda, Trilla Suduri and the Ninth Sister

Trilla Suduri, who later became the Second Sister, and Masana Tide, who became the Ninth Sister, were both former Jedi Padawans who managed to survive Order 66, but they did so in a tragic way: they fell to the dark side and became Inquisitors for the Empire.

Trilla Suduri was the Padawan of Cere Junda. After the Order 66 was enacted, Cere hid Trilla from the Empire. Unfortunately, they were eventually discovered, and while Cere was being tortured by the Empire, she revealed Trilla’s location. Trilla was then subjected to her own torture and manipulation, which led to her turning to the dark side and becoming the Second Sister.

Devastated by her failure and the fear of her own dark side potential, Cere cut herself off from the Force and went into hiding. She later became a mentor to Cal Kestis in Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, aiding him in rebuilding the Jedi Order.

Masana Tide, who would become the Ninth Sister, was a Jedi Knight during the Clone Wars. After surviving Order 66, she was captured by the Empire and succumbed to torture and manipulation, like Trilla. She was then trained to become an Inquisitor, hunting down any surviving Jedi and potential Force-sensitive children.

Taron Malicos

Taron Malicos was a Jedi General during the Clone Wars. When Order 66 was issued, he found himself stranded on Dathomir, a planet strong with the dark side of the Force. He survived by falling to the dark side himself, using his newfound power to manipulate the Nightsister Merrin and establish himself as a ruler on the planet. Malicos attempted to recruit Cal Kestis to his cause in Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, but was ultimately defeated by him.

Nari

Nari is another Jedi that Obi-Wan met in his titular TV show. Although Nari also escaped to Tatooine, he is unable to resist openly opposing the Empire and is ultimately publicly killed by the Inquisitors.

Gungi

First appearing in Star Wars: The Clone Wars, Gungi was a promising Wookiee Youngling whose destiny was drastically altered by the execution of Order 66. As revealed in season 2, episode 6 of Star Wars: The Bad Batch, Gungi managed to survive this devastating order. With the assistance of Clone Force 99, he made his way to Kashyyyk, the homeworld of the Wookiees. Regrettably, his arrival did not go unnoticed, quickly drawing the attention of the Empire. As of now, what becomes of Gungi remains a mystery.
