Owen Lars was born on Tatooine, the son of moisture farmers, Cliegg and Aika Lars. He was raised on the planet and worked alongside his father on the family’s moisture farm. He was known for being hardworking and reliable.
Relationship with Anakin Skywalker
Owen first met Anakin Skywalker when he arrived on Tatooine with Padmé Amidala to protect her from danger. Owen and Anakin did not get along at first, but eventually formed a working relationship.
